It’s Confirmed! Verizon Will be Getting the Apple iPhone

Verizon is finally getting its hands on the iPhone beginning next month. AT&T’s long stranglehold is coming to an end. Skype Keeps Adding on the Features

Skype’s latest iPhone app version includes the ability to send and receive video chat over Wi-Fi and AT&T’s 3G network. Video calls can be accepted on iPad, iPhone 3G, and iPod Touch but cannot be sent since there is no front facing camera. Fring and Tango are competitors with similar video calling apps. AfricaCom 2010 in Cape Town, South Africa

The 13th annual mobile convention, AfricaCom, opened at the Cape Town International Convention Centre in South Africa on November 11, 2010. Over the course of the two days, over 4500 people attended the conference and was the largest AfricaCom in its history. There was a lot of buzz on 3G and LTE infrastructure improvements around the continent to bypass the extremely slow and expensive landline data solutions that are currently in place. New Rankings in Top 5 Mobile Phone Manufacturers
